Over the Past 9 months I designed a Line Array speaker system for my studio. They were built by Mark and Chad at  Meniscus Audio. Chad also did  a leap design for the crossover optimized for 16 feet. They now carry this Array as a standard product assembled or in kit form.

It was basically a research project that turned into a construction project when funding came through as a result of a 50th birthday present from my wife.

This document describes the reasons for all the design choices, which I hope will be valuable for anyone curious about Line Arrays. It gives references to many of the resources used, and explores the logic, rhetoric, and controversy surrounding Line Arrays for Hi-Fi use.
