Here's a Band that embodies the spirit of of the Cajun. They are a totally musical bunch of people, all multi instrumentalists, many conservatory trained, speak French (or that strange variant we have in Louisiana) and will routinely jump off the stage and start wandering around in the audience as a band.

The Sheik is a Dixieland style tune that shows off their loose style and Horn playing ability.

Jolie Fille is an absolutely beautiful traditional song I recorded with only two microphones in the center of the room, and a spot mic on the guitar - one take and one overdub (the guitar solo). This song really shows off how the main room sounds - and how pretty a simple recording can turn out.
